In order to comply with Governor Holcomb’s “Roadmap to Safely Reopen Indiana” plan, the following City of Mishawaka facilities remain closed until further notice: Battell Community Center, all public restrooms, and all park playgrounds. Mishawaka Parks and the Mishawaka Riverwalk will remain open, and several Porta-Potties will be located along the Riverwalk for the convenience of those using the Riverwalk. Those using the Porta-Potties do so at their own risk.

Merrifield Pool To Remain Closed For 2020

Merrifield Pool will not be opening for 2020 season. The Mishawaka Parks Department has been evaluating this situation for nearly a month. A firm decision needed to be made at this time due to the amount of time that it takes to prepare the pool for the summer.

Fallen Officers Blood Drive June 2nd

The Mishawaka Police Department is proud to partner with The South Bend Medical Foundation in hosting the 13th annual Indiana Fallen Officer Blood Drive. Please join us in honoring our fellow officers by donating blood on Tuesday, June 2nd from 11:00am-4:00pm.

City Government Buildings to Reopen to Public

All City of Mishawaka government buildings will reopen to the public on Monday, May 11th in compliance with Governor Holcomb’s Back on Track Indiana program. Mishawaka City government is considered an essential operation and has been open and fully staffed under emergency modified operations since the onset of the pandemic.
