CONNECT will study the Interurban Trolley and Transpo fixed routes transit systems that service South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart and Goshen in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties.

As extreme temperatures are approaching the area, the City of Mishawaka is asking homeowners to take preventative measures to help protect water pipes and meters from freezing.

Turn on both the hot and cold taps so that they produce the tiniest line of water trickling out of the tap. Leaving faucets slightly open so water barely trickles keeps the water moving through the pipes and helps to prevent freezing of both the water lines and meters.
