The next American Heritage Roundtable discussion will take place March 9, 2017 at 6:30pm in the Spencer Gallery at the Mishawaka Library, 209 Lincolnway East. The featured presentation will be on the 1893 Columbian Exposition (Chicago World's Fair) presented by Ed Chamberlin.
The American Heritage Roundtable is co-sponsored by the Mishawaka Historic Preservation Commission. No registration is necessary.
The City of Mishawaka's Redevelopment Department is now accepting applications from homeowners to participate in their Summer of Service Program. The program is a collaborative effort between area churches and the City of Mishawaka with the goal of making a significant impact on our community through kindness and outreach activities. These activities may include painting, landscaping and minimal repairs.
Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood and Mishawaka Police Chief Ken Witkowski have recognized several Mishawaka Police Officers for their roles in outstanding lifesaving efforts for 2016. Officers receiving the awards were Ryan Kuzmicz, Dave Ruiz, Kyle Miner, Rich Freeman, Glen Roach, Andrew Sark, Chad Winger, Ron Treely and Mark Flemming.
Join Mishawaka Parks for their annual Daddy/Daughter Dance on Friday, February 24th at the Battell Center in Mishawaka. The event features a theme for the evening and a chance for father and daughters to bond. The dance is open for girls in grades K-6th escorted by an adult, male family member. Space is limited, registration is first come, first serve.
