Mayor Wood Delivers 2017 State of the City Address

2017 State of the City Address

Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood will deliver his State of the City address on Monday evening, March 13th, 2017 in the auditorium of the Battell Center. There will be an open-house reception and tours of Battell Center led by members of Mayor Wood’s Youth Advisory Council starting at 6:00pm followed by the State of the City address at 7:00pm. The event is free and open to the public.

American Heritage Roundtable - March 9

The next American Heritage Roundtable discussion will take place March 9, 2017 at 6:30pm in the Spencer Gallery at the Mishawaka Library, 209 Lincolnway East. The featured presentation will be on the 1893 Columbian Exposition (Chicago World's Fair) presented by Ed Chamberlin.

The American Heritage Roundtable is co-sponsored by the Mishawaka Historic Preservation Commission. No registration is necessary.

Community Development - Summer of Service

The City of Mishawaka's Redevelopment Department  is now accepting applications from homeowners to participate in their Summer of Service Program. The program is a collaborative effort between area churches and the City of Mishawaka with the goal of making a significant impact on our community through kindness and outreach activities. These activities may include painting, landscaping and minimal repairs.

Lifesaving Awards Presented By Mishawaka Police

Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood and Mishawaka Police Chief Ken Witkowski have recognized several Mishawaka Police Officers for their roles in outstanding lifesaving efforts for 2016. Officers receiving the awards were Ryan Kuzmicz, Dave Ruiz, Kyle Miner, Rich Freeman, Glen Roach, Andrew Sark, Chad Winger, Ron Treely and Mark Flemming.
