Mishawaka Police To Hold Kid Print ID Event

The Mishawaka Police Department, in partnership with Lexus of Mishawaka, will host a free event featuring their new Kid Print ID program on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 10am – 1pm. The event is free and will take place at the Lexus of Mishawaka dealership.

The Kid Print ID program is a child identification system that prints out credit-card sized ID cards that easily fit in a parent's purse or wallet. The ID cards give law enforcement pertinent demographic information as well as a recent photo of the child - information that is often too hard to locate quickly in situations when children go missing.

The Mishawaka Police Department’s Community Relations Unit acquired the Kid Print ID kit through a grant along with public donations from Lexus of Mishawaka and will be using the program to address the concern of wandering and missing children.
