DEA Drug Take Back Day October 27th

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.- St. Joseph County will be participating in the bi-annual DEA Drug Take Back Day. On Saturday October 27th, people can drop off pills and med patches at locations all across the county. Those dropping off medication can put all the pills together into a zip-lock bag and then recycle the empty pill bottles. 

Fallen Officers Blood Drive June 20th

The Mishawaka Police Department is proud to partner with The South Bend Medical Foundation in hosting the 11th annual Indiana Fallen Officer Blood Drive. Please join us in honoring our fellow officers by donating blood on Wednesday, June 20th from 10:00am-4:00pm.

"Cool Your Engines" Back To School Safety Campaign

Mayor David A. Wood and Mishawaka School Superintendent Dr. Dean Speicher will hold a news conference on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to announce Project “School’s Open - Cool Your Engines” in preparation for the opening of local schools. The news conference will be held in front of Emmons Elementary School, 1306 S. Main St. in Mishawaka.

Lifesaving Awards Presented By Mishawaka Police

Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood and Mishawaka Police Chief Ken Witkowski have recognized several Mishawaka Police Officers for their roles in outstanding lifesaving efforts for 2016. Officers receiving the awards were Ryan Kuzmicz, Dave Ruiz, Kyle Miner, Rich Freeman, Glen Roach, Andrew Sark, Chad Winger, Ron Treely and Mark Flemming.
