Fallen Officers Blood Drive June 14th

The Mishawaka Police Department is proud to partner with The South Bend Medical Foundation in hosting this year’s Fallen Officers Blood Drive. June donors will be entered into a raffle to win one of ten $100 gift certificates drawn each week!

Please join us in honoring our fellow officers by donating blood on Wednesday, June 14th from 10:00am-4:00pm. The blood donation will take place at the Mishawaka Police Department, 200 N. Church St. in Mishawaka.

Pawlowski Named 2015 Officer of the Year

Mishawaka Police Chief Ken Witkowski has named Detective Lt. Robert Pawlowski as the recipient of the Mishawaka Police "Officer of the Year" award for 2015. "Lt. Pawlowski has proven to be an outstanding officer," commented Chief Witkowski. "His accomplishments and actions over the course of the year and beyond reflect highly upon him and the Mishawaka Police Department." 

Officers of the 4th Quarter - 2015

Mishawaka Police Chief Ken Witkowski has named members of the Mishawaka Street Crimes Unit - Lt. Brian Costa, Sgt. Eric Beckham and PFC Ryan Corbett as "Officers of the Fourth Quarter" for 2015. The Unit is comprised of 3 officers with very different backgrounds whose main goal is to investigate, interrupt and arrest the City's largest and most frequent criminals.

Mishawaka Police Chief Ken Witkowski has named PFC. Joshua Watts and PSC. Kyle Miner as "Officers of the 2nd Quarter, 2015".  The officers were unanimously nominated by the Mishawaka Police Department's Afternoon Shift for their actions in locating and apprehending six suspects that were involved in an armed robbery.
