The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that milling is set to begin Wednesday, May 1 on State Road 933 in St. Joseph County, as part of a resurfacing project between State Road 23 and State Road 331 (Capital Avenue). This work is weather permitting. In the case of rain, the start of work will be pushed to the next day.

Milling will begin on the east end of the project (near Capital Avenue) and feature moving lane closures with flaggers directing traffic around where work is taking place.

Milling work is expected to wrap up by early June with the paving work and new lane configuration (one lane each direction with a center turn lane between Capital Avenue and Logan Street in Mishawaka) complete by the end of July.
