Groundbreaking Ceremony: Mishawaka Miracle League Park

The City of Mishawaka invites city leaders, partners, donors, community members, and local advocates to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Mishawaka Miracle League Park at Normain Park.

This state-of-the-art inclusive park is designed to provide a welcoming, accessible, and engaging space for children and families of all abilities. At its heart, the Miracle League Field marks a significant milestone—the first field of its kind in the State of Indiana—where children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities can experience the joy of playing baseball in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

The project will also feature a fully inclusive playground, splash pad, restroom, Sona Arch, softball field, pavilions, and sensory areas—ensuring every visitor, regardless of age or ability, can experience accessible recreation in a truly welcoming environment.

The event will conclude with children, partners, and community leaders helping to ceremonially dig the first shovelfuls of soil, symbolizing a future built together—for everyone.
