NOTICE OF A HEARING ON
PROPOSED RATES AND CHARGES
PUBLIC HEARING POSTPONED TO THE NEXT MEETING ON MAY 18TH
Property owners, rate payers, and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the Mishawaka Water Utility are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 2026-__06___ establishing water rates and charges for services to be rendered by the utility was introduced at a meeting of the Common Council of the City of Mishawaka, Indiana held on February _16_, 2026. At a meeting of the Council to be held at 6:00 p.m. (local time) on May __04, 2026, in the Council’s meeting room, there will be a public hearing on the matter of rates and charges, and consideration of adoption of said Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-__06___. Following adoption of the ordinance, users who are located outside the City’s corporate boundaries may be entitled to petition the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission under IC 8-1.5-3-8.3 to review and adjust the rates and charges imposed on the users if a petition under IC 8-1.5-3-8.2 with respect to the rate ordinance has not been filed.
