AVISO DE DISPONIBILIDAD DE SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE 2024 ACTION PLAN (DRAFT) Y AVISO DE AUDIENCIA PÚBLICA
Notice is hereby given that the City of Mishawaka will have available the Substantial Amendment to the PY 2024 Action Plan for public review on the City of Mishawaka’s website, Mishawaka-Penn Harris Public Libraries, City of Mishawaka Planning Department, St. Joseph County Public Library, and City of South Bend Department of Community Investment. All locations are handicapped accessible.
The Following Changes constitute a substantial amendment and require public notice as described in the CPC:
- Changes in Funding of more than $30,000 Cancellation or addition
PY2023 CDBG funded Project did not move forward causing $80,000 CDBG funds to be re-allocated to PY2024 Public Infrastructure Project increasing the allocation to $367,957.56.
There will be a 30-day public comment period beginning May 1, 2025 and ending on May 30, 2025. Comments may be submitted to the Department of Community Development, 100 Lincoln way West, Mishawaka, IN 46544 or via email to lviramontes@mishawaka.in.gov

Hearings regarding the City of Mishawaka’s proposed Amendment to the PY 2024 Action Plan will be held in two locations on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
In Mishawaka, the hearing will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Mishawaka City Hall, Council Chamber’s Room, 1S t Floor, 100 Lincolnway Oeste, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
In South Bend, the hearing will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Investment Department office on the 14th floor of the County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601. Both locations are handicapped accessible.
