As the week wraps up, Mayor Dave Wood sat outside for the second Front Porch Friday of 2025. It was the perfect way to conclude the week! Thank you to the community of Mishawaka who showed out to give Mayor Dave Wood feedback on the community of Mishawaka!
Despite the rainy and humid weather, Mayor Dave Wood and the members of Mishawaka had meaningful conversations whilst enjoying ice cold lemonade. The citizens of Mishawaka produced a wonderful crowd.
Front Porch Friday was held from noon to 1:00 pm on July 25th, 2025. It took place in front of the Mishawaka Utilities Business Office.
““Front Porch Fridays” has been something I wanted to do for a while now.” shares Mayor Wood. “Growing up, some of the most important conversations took place on our front porch with a glass of lemonade.”
Mayor Wood had meaningful and productive conversations with the residents in attendance. He enjoys talking about the great things within the Princess City, and Mayor Wood is always looking to discuss ways to improve Mishawaka’s quality of life.
Again, thank you to the Mishawaka community for showing up to Front Porch Friday. With the attendance of Mishawaka residents, Mayor Wood is able to work harder to improve the beloved City of Mishawaka. The beauty and growth within the City would not be possible without the feedback and dedication of the community.
