DEFINICI\u00d3N:<\/strong>
\nEmployee assists Landscape Manager or crew leader(s) with daily maintenance of all Municipal owned landscaping at Parks, Riverwalk, Municipal Buildings, Parking Lots, and Traffic Islands<\/p>\n

\nParques de Mishawaka, Riverwalk, espacio de propiedad municipal<\/p>\n

REQUERIMIENTOS F\u00cdSICOS:<\/strong>
\nLos empleados se mueven, doblan, agachan y levantan objetos constantemente durante largos per\u00edodos de tiempo. Se requiere una gran destreza para desmalezar, podar y plantar. Debe tener suficiente resistencia para trabajar con calor o fr\u00edo y operar sopladores el\u00e9ctricos, cortadoras de setos y cortadoras de c\u00e9sped de empuje durante largos per\u00edodos de tiempo sin descanso. Debe poder levantar al menos 50 libras. sin ayuda<\/p>\n

ENVIROMENTAL \/ WORKING CONDITIONS:<\/strong>
\nEl empleado est\u00e1 sujeto a todo tipo de clima, ruidos fuertes de herramientas el\u00e9ctricas, suciedad, polvo y polen de las plantas.<\/p>\n

FUNCIONES ESENCIALES DEL TRABAJO:<\/strong>
\nEmployees perform a variety of landscape tasks utilizing horticulture knowledge. Tasks include: Weeding, cleaning, trash removal from landscape locations, planting, pruning, and any other tasks requested by Landscape Management Staff or Seasonal Team Leaders.<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:<\/strong>
\nA. Maintain clean and orderly landscape across the City of Mishawaka by: Keeping flower beds free of weeds and unwanted plants, removing trash from parks and flower beds, keeping bushes and trees trimmed, and flowerbeds mulched
\nB. Plant flowers, both annual and perennial, each year at our show parks, municipal signs, and park signs
\nC. Keep sidewalks clean of debris left by plants, people, and geese using leaf blowers
\nD. Clean, maintain, and be responsible of all equipment
\nE. Assist with Adopt \u2013 a \u2013 Park Program as scheduled or requested
\nF. Working in the MEF Community Greenhouse watering plants
\nG. Any job requested by Landscape Manager or Team Leaders<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION:<\/strong>
