The City is performing an odor treatment study to assess system needs in preparation for the next upgrade. The Study will be performed by Webster Environmental, a specialist in environmental odor treatment, and coordinated by Lawson Fisher Associates P.C.<\/p>\n<p>The study will entail placement of air collection and pressure measuring equipment in manholes. While placing this equipment, manholes lids will be removed for short periods of time, up to 5 hours, allowing odorous air to escape into the atmosphere. Lawson-Fisher Associates personnel will return in a few weeks to remove the testing equipment.
