Witkowski habl\u00f3 con profundo cari\u00f1o mientras reflexionaba sobre su viaje.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstoy muy orgulloso del camino recorrido, desde donde empezamos hasta donde terminamos y de las cosas que pudimos lograr\u201d, dijo Witkowski. \u201cNo puedo creer que hayan pasado 36 a\u00f1os en total. Es incre\u00edble para m\u00ed. Nunca me di cuenta de lo r\u00e1pido que pasaban los a\u00f1os\u201d.<\/p>\n

Wood tambi\u00e9n honr\u00f3 el liderazgo de Witkowski y su servicio a la ciudad.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn nombre de nuestros ciudadanos, no podemos agradecerles lo suficiente por los sacrificios que hicieron y el servicio que brindaron\u201d, dijo Wood. \u201cMishawaka est\u00e1 creciendo r\u00e1pidamente, y ese crecimiento simplemente no puede ocurrir sin el MPD, quienes lo sirven y su liderazgo. Adem\u00e1s de la juramentaci\u00f3n de Arendt y Witkowski, el sargento Timothy Wiley fue ascendido y juramentado como subdirector de la Oficina de Detectives del MPD, y Dan Gebo, subdirector retirado de la Oficina de Detectives del MPD, jurament\u00f3 como oficial de recursos de la Ciudad Escolar de Mishawaka.<\/p>\n

Al reflexionar sobre su nuevo rol, Arendt expres\u00f3 orgullo por el departamento en el que ha servido durante casi tres d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n
