JOB TITLE – SEASONAL PARK MAINTENANCE
DEPARTMENT: CSD / Parks Department
SALARY: $11.00 to $14.00
HOURS: Various
DEFINITION
Seasonal Park Maintenance Crew would be responsible for removing all trash in City Parks. Assist in mowing and maintenance of all City owned properties.

2. Pick-Up truck with attached Trailer
3. Utility Task Vehicle
4. Weed Whip
5. Back Pack Blower
6. Sprayer
7. Edger
JOB LOCATION
Central Service Department and All City of Mishawaka Parks and River Walk
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
All of the work is performed outside in all weather conditions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
1. Removing All Trash from receptacles
2. Policing litter on the ground
3. May be required to assist in special event set up and/or tear down
4. Ability to work with public and co-workers
5. Work boots and Jeans
ADDITIONAL EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
1. Cleaning of Pavilions for rental purposes
2. Policing of lose trash in parks
3. Weed whipping around Fences, Posts, and Trees
4. Any jobs assigned by management
5. Power washing pavilions
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
1. Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
2. Must be able to work with the public in respectful manner
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
2. Must be 16 years old or older.
3. Valid Indiana Driver License
