Heartfelt Condolences for Linda Dotson, a Valued member of our City of Mishawaka Community

It is with heartfelt condolences that we announce the passing of Linda Dotson, a valued and dedicated member of our Mishawaka community, who retired after a long and distinguished career with 20 years of service in the City of Mishawaka’s City Clerk’s office, secretary to former Mayor Robert Kovach and years of service in the Penn Township Assessors Office.

Linda was a familiar face and a steady presence at City Hall, known for her commitment to public service, her professionalism, and her kindness to everyone she encountered.

Throughout her career, Linda embodied the values we hold dear in Mishawaka: dedication, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive difference. She served our city with distinction, always going above and beyond to ensure that the office ran smoothly and that her work helped support city functions efficiently.

Her legacy within the City Clerk’s office is defined not only by her exceptional work but by her deep respect for the people of Mishawaka and her desire to make a difference in our community.

Linda’s contributions extended well beyond her official duties. She was a friend to many in City Hall and was always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear to her colleagues. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on those she worked with, and her presence will be deeply missed.

As we remember Linda, we are grateful for her years of service, which have left a meaningful mark on the City of Mishawaka and the many lives she touched. Our thoughts and condolences are with her family, friends, and all those in our community who mourn her passing.

Linda Dotson’s legacy will live on in the city she served so well, and we honor her memory with appreciation and respect for all that she gave to Mishawaka
