Join Us In Honoring Mishawaka’s Fallen Police Officers.

On Thursday, May 15th, the City of Mishawaka and the Mishawaka Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) will be holding the annual Fallen Officer Memorial Ceremony at 6:30 pm. The memorial will be held at the MPD Police Officers Memorial Monuments on the northwest side of the Mishawaka City Hall. If there is rain the event will be held in the Mishawaka City Hall Council Chambers.  

Today, May 15th, marks Peace Officers Memorial Day, an occasion honored nationally during Police Week. Police Week is a time to reflect on the brave men and women who ensure the safety and protection of families and loved ones. Police Week is a time to honor the men and women who gave their life in service to the public. We express our deep gratitude to those who continue to serve with honor and integrity. 

The Fallen Officer Memorial will honor the Mishawaka Police Officers who lost their lives protecting the Mishawaka community. These officers showcased dedication, bravery, and commitment to ensuring the protection and safety of all Mishawaka residents.  

This event is organized by the Mishawaka Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), as part of the broader nationwide tribute led by the National FOP and its Memorial Committee.
