“It has been such a blessing these past three years to kiss Scarlett goodnight in her very own bedroom on Christmas Eve and wake up the next morning to see the excitement on her face as she comes running down the hall of our home, wearing her favorite holiday pajamas. My family is so happy to welcome our new neighbors and for them to experience the same comfort and joy of being home for the holidays!” After months of sweat equity and determination, working side-by-side with fellow Habitat Homeowners and volunteers, these new families will experience the true magic of the holidays in a home that is undeniably theirs. As they step outside onto their front porch, they’ll see neighbors like Lindsay and Scarlett, stringing twinkling lights, children laughing and playing in the neighborhood, and they’ll feel a sense of warmth knowing they are now party of a safe and welcoming community.
