Mayor Dave Wood Accepts Nomination as President of AIM for 2025

It is with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility that Mayor Dave Wood accepted the nomination to serve as President of Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM) for 2025. As someone who has dedicated over a decade to serving the City of Mishawaka, Mayor Wood believes this opportunity to lead AIM is both an honor and a privilege.

AIM has been instrumental in helping Indiana’s cities and towns work together to improve the lives of Hoosiers across our great state, and Mayor Wood is excited to contribute to that legacy.

As Mayor, Dave Wood has always believed in the power of collaboration and innovation. In Mishawaka, he has seen firsthand what happens when municipalities, local leaders, and dedicated public servants work together to make our communities stronger.

From public safety to economic development to quality-of-life initiatives, Mishawaka has become a vibrant, growing city, and Mayor Wood looks forward to bringing that same energy and passion to AIM.

In 2025, Mayor Wood believes that AIM and Indiana’s Municipalities will face many challenges and opportunities as communities across Indiana continue to grow and evolve.

Whether it’s addressing infrastructure needs, fostering economic development, or finding solutions to the issues that matter most to our residents, AIM plays a critical role in ensuring that Indiana’s municipalities have the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive.

Mayor Dave Wood is excited to work with his fellow leaders from across the state to advocate for policies that strengthen our cities and towns, enhance local government, and empower our municipalities to build a brighter future for all Hoosiers.
