There is a quote that reads “Home is where the heart is.” That phrase is one that The National Basketball Association (NBA) Birmingham Squadron point guard Devin Cannady has followed throughout his career. Cannady calls Mishawaka, Indiana his hometown. Throughout all his successes, he has stayed true to where he came from.
Cannady values his roots, as he frequently visits Mishawaka and generously contributes to the community whenever possible. Cannady wanted to honor his community values and founded the Cannady Family Foundation to do so. The Cannady Family Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes living a healthy lifestyle to the youth through sports, mental health resources, and financial literacy.
The Cannady Family Foundation is hosting two events in August for the enjoyment of Mishawaka’s youth.
