Power Restored in Less Than Two Hours Following AEP Transmission Line Failure

Mishawaka, IN – Mishawaka Utility Electric (MUE) is proud to announce that power has been restored in less than two hours following a major transmission line failure from AEP. This rapid response is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our restoration teams.

While this outage was promptly resolved, we are still addressing scattered outages resulting from Sunday’s unprecedented storm. Our crews are actively working to restore full service, and we remain committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of our power supply for all residents.
