This summer, there should be no boring moments, not when there is so much to do in the City of Mishawaka. The Mishawaka Parks and Recreation Department has planned numerous activities for the community to enjoy on a hot summer day.
Starting in June, there will be markets, food trucks, and concerts for the whole family to get together and enjoy.
On Sunday, June 1st, the Mishawaka Market will start. The Mishawaka Market is every Sunday on Ironworks Avenue from 10 am-2 pm ending on Sunday, September 28th. The Mishawaka Market is a vibrant environment where local vendors can sell various goods.
The City of Mishawaka is also welcoming back Food Truck Wednesday and Food Truck Friday. Food Truck Wednesday will be held on the first and third Wednesday from 11 am-2 pm starting Wednesday, June 4th, and ending on Wednesday, July 16th. The food trucks will be located at the Ball Band Biergarten, 230 Ironworks Ave, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
Food Truck Friday will be held on the second and fourth Friday in June and July from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. The first Food Truck Friday will be on Friday, June 13th, and the last one will be on July 25th. The food trucks can be found at 230 Ironworks Ave, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
The Summer Concert Series is also a fun filled event happening throughout the summer. The Summer Concert Series starts on June 4th and ends August 27th. It will be held on Mondays at the Battell Park Bandshell from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Wednesdays at the Ball Band Biergarten from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and Thursdays at the Central Park Stage from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
With so many events occurring within the City, there is no room for a dull moment. This summer is the perfect time to make memories and enjoy the entertainment the City has to offer.
