The City of Mishawaka, in partnership with community leaders, donors, and local advocates, will officially broke ground on the highly anticipated Mishawaka Miracle League Park at Normain Park. This transformative project represents a major milestone for the community, creating the first fully inclusive recreational space of its kind in the State of Indiana.
The Miracle League Field will provide children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities the opportunity to play baseball in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. More than a ballfield, the project is designed to foster deep friendships, create lasting memories, and ensure that everyone—regardless of age or ability—can experience the joy of sports and recreation.
In addition to the Miracle League Field, the park will feature:
- A fully inclusive playground
- A splash pad
- Accessible restrooms
- A Sona Arch interactive play structure
- A softball field
- Pavilions and sensory areas
