NEWS RELEASE Date: December 24, 2024 Subject: Mishawaka Solid Waste Transition Update Attention Mishawaka Residents: As we complete the transition from Republic Services to Waste Management (WM) for trash and recycling collection, please take note of the following important details: Final Pickup by Republic Services: Republic Services will perform their final trash and recycling collection during the last week of December, concluding on December 31, 2024, on your regularly scheduled pickup day. Bin Collection: After Republic Services completes their final collection, please leave your Republic bins at the curb on your scheduled trash day. Republic Services will collect these bins following their final pickup. Start Using WM Bins: Beginning January 2, 2025, residents should start using their new WM bins for all trash and recycling collection services.
