Get to Know the Departments
that Serve Our City
Over the 17 square miles that we call Mishawaka, nearly 500 city employees deliver essential services to every person in every home, every hour of every day. Like the residents they serve, our employees are hardworking, honest and committed to making Mishawaka a home for all.
We are grateful to local firefighters, police officers and paramedics who protect our families and our homes throughout the year. Working hard to govern and maintain our city are our fiscal officers, street crews, planning teams, technology and infrastructure personnel, historical records and preservation teams, utilities personnel, parks department and many others.
