The Mishawaka Fire Department is proud to welcome four highly qualified lateral transfer firefighters to our ranks. Each of these professionals brings a wealth of experience, certifications, and leadership to strengthen our department’s service to the community.
Firefighter/Paramedic Cameron Hall joins MFD with 13 years of career fire service. He holds Lead Paramedic status in St. Joseph County and previously served as a captain with his former department. Cameron brings extensive credentials, including certifications as a Driver/Operator, Fire Officer, Fire Instructor, Fire Inspector, and EMS Instructor. He is also a member of the MABAS 201 Technical Rescue Team. Cameron comes to Mishawaka because of the camaraderie he has seen among the department members, something he is looking to be a part of.
Firefighter/Paramedic Dalton Farrer brings eight years of career experience and previously held the rank of lieutenant. He is a certified Flight Paramedic, Driver/Operator, Fire Officer, Fire Instructor, and EMS Instructor, and is also a Rope Rescue Technician. Dalton comes to Mishawaka because of the reputation of high quality care provided and professional reputation of the department.
Firefighter/Paramedic Jordan Fisher comes to MFD with five years of career fire service. He holds Lead Paramedic status in St. Joseph County and served as a Driver/Operator with his previous department. Jordan is certified as both a Driver/Operator and Firefighter. Jordan is a graduate of Mishawaka High School and is fulfilling a dream of serving the community he grew up in.
Firefighter/Paramedic Timathy Payne also brings five years of experience, with a strong focus on EMS. His primary assignment at his previous department was ambulance-based, and he is certified as both a Paramedic and a Firefighter. Timathy moved to Mishawaka from Kansas over 5 years ago and is looking forward to serving his own neighbors where he calls home.
