NEWS RELEASE Date: December 24, 2024 Subject: Mishawaka Solid Waste Transition Update Attention Mishawaka Residents: As we complete the transition from Republic Services to Waste Management (WM) for trash and recycling collection, please take note of the following important details: Final Pickup by Republic Services: Republic Services will perform their final trash and recycling collection during the last week of December, on your last service day in 2024/your regularly scheduled pickup day.  Please leave your Republic Service bins at the curb for pick-up of the Republic Services bins after your last pick-up date in 2024. Bin Collection: After Republic Services completes their final collection, please leave your Republic bins at the curb on your scheduled trash day. Republic Services will collect these bins following their final pickup. Start Using WM Bins: Beginning January 2, 2025, residents should start using their new WM bins for all trash and recycling collection services.
