Front Porch Friday: A Successful Gathering with Mayor Dave Wood

The City of Mishawaka is thrilled to announce the success of the first Front Porch Friday event of 2024, held earlier today. Hosted by Mayor Dave Wood, this community gathering provided an opportunity for residents to engage in meaningful conversations while enjoying a refreshing glass of lemonade on the City’s Front Porch.

Despite the rainy weather, the event saw a turnout of enthusiastic participants, with more than six individuals joining Mayor Dave Wood for engaging discussions. Among the special guests were former Penn Township Trustee and Board member, Joe Ganser of Mishawaka, whose presence added to the vibrant atmosphere of the occasion.

Another notable attendee was Katherine Stafford, a visionary entrepreneur known for her ventures in Kingdom Shine cleaning and Creative Color Media. Their contributions to the conversations enriched the gathering and highlighted the diversity of voices within our community.

The positive energy of the event was further amplified by the presence of WNDU News, who captured the essence of the gathering and showcased the spirit of unity and camaraderie among Mishawaka residents.

Front Porch Friday serves as a platform for fostering connections, sharing ideas, and strengthening community bonds. Today’s event exemplified the power of meaningful dialogue and collaboration in shaping a brighter future for Mishawaka.

We extend our gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the success of the event. Stay tuned for updates on future Front Porch Friday gatherings, as we continue to build a stronger, more vibrant community together.
