FALL LEAF PICKUP October 19 through December 11, 2026 • Weather permitting The Mishawaka Street Department’s fall leaf collection program follows a weekly schedule to help residents plan their raking. Leaves are collected the day before your regular trash pickup. If your trash pickup is Monday, your leaves are collected on Friday. Rake leaves to the curb’s edge and keep them free of branches, twigs, stones and other debris that can damage equipment or delay collection. After the vacuum truck passes, wait until the next scheduled collection to place more leaves in the street. Leaves left in the street may clog sewer inlets or blow back into yards.
