CDBG 2026 Application

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE 2026 APPLICATION FOR CDBG FUNDING TO BEGIN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE 2026 ACTION PLAN AND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mishawaka will have available the 2026 application as of Friday, August 22, 2025 for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The application addresses housing and community development needs for the one-year use of CDBG funds.

The Mishawaka CDBG application is available here, at the hearings or by sending an email request to lviramontes@mishawaka.in.gov.

 

HEARING TIMES AND LOCATIONS

Hearings regarding the City of Mishawaka, City of South Bend and St. Joseph County Housing Consortium’s Home and CDBG fund allocations will be held in two locations on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

In Mishawaka, the hearing will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Mishawaka City Hall, 100 Lincolnway West, Mishawaka, IN 46544.

In South Bend, the hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Investment Department office on the 14th floor of the County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601. Both locations are handicapped accessible.
