City of Mishawaka’s own Ken Prince Elected to Prestigious American Society of Landscape Architects Council of Fellows

“This year’s class of ASLA Fellows has made outstanding contributions to people’s health, safety, and welfare; environmental sustainability and climate resilience; and stronger communities,” says ASLA President Emily O’Mahoney

Mishawaka, Indiana, (6/28 2023) – The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) announced the election Ken Prince as one of 48 ASLA Fellows. ASLA Fellows are recognized for their exceptional contributions to the landscape architecture profession and society at large. Election to the ASLA Council of Fellows is among the highest honors the ASLA bestows on members and is based on their works, leadership/management, knowledge and service.

“Landscape architects help build a better world for all of us, and ASLA Fellows represent the most respected and accomplished professionals in the entire field,” said ASLA President Emily O’Mahoney, FASLA. “This year’s class of ASLA Fellows has made outstanding contributions to people’s health, safety, and welfare; environmental sustainability and climate resilience; and stronger communities. His peers in Mishawaka and those throughout the state describe him as a kind problem-solver with an outstanding work ethic. His impact is not just within the City of Mishawaka, but throughout the region and the state of Indiana.

Ken is truly a visionary, a consummate professional and a servant leader.  Ken handles his multitude of responsibilities with extraordinary professionalism, grace, and dogged determination.   Ken’s vast knowledge and remarkable expertise makes him an invaluable asset to the City of Mishawaka, its citizens and throughout the State of Indiana!
