A City of Mishawaka Firefighter, Paul McGowan, recently had an article published on the Fire Engineering website titled “Lithium-Ion Battery Fires: A Runaway Problem.”
Fire Engineering is one of the most respected and prominent websites used in the fire service. It is an educational resource used in reaching firefighters, instructors, chiefs, and industry leaders throughout the world. Having an article selected for publication on their platform is a very significant and impressive professional achievement.
Paul McGowan is one of the first members of the Mishawaka Fire Department to have an article published on Fire Engineering. McGowan’s hard work is now being shared throughout the fire service, helping educate firefighters globally on one of today’s fastest-growing fire hazards, Lithium-Ion Batteries.
“This accomplishment reflects not only Paul’s dedication to continuous learning and professional excellence, but also the caliber of individuals who serve the City of Mishawaka.” states Mishawaka Fire Chief, Joshua Jester. “We are incredibly proud to see one of our firefighters contributing to the advancement of the fire service on an international stage.”
Please join the City of Mishawaka and the Mishawaka Fire Department in congratulating Firefighter Paul McGowan on this outstanding achievement.
