The Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) has introduced a new Physical Agility Test that will take effect on Saturday, August 1st, 2026.
As part of these changes, candidates will be required to complete an Obstacle Course during the physical testing process. The course is designed to assess job-related movements and evaluate a candidate’s ability to perform realistic law enforcement tasks.
For detailed information about the new Physical Agility Testing standards, including the Obstacle Course requirements and instructions, please visit ILEA’s website at www.ilea.in.gov.
We encourage all prospective candidates to review the new standards and begin preparing accordingly. Staying informed and training for the updated requirements will help increase your chances of success during the testing process.
