The Detective Bureau is supervised by Division Chief Dan Gebo and is comprised of 16 Detectives who are tasked with the investigation of crimes that occur within the City of Mishawaka and St. Joseph County. The Detective Bureau has three sub-divisions:

  • Street Crimes Unit
  • Family Violence Unit
  • Homicide Unit

All criminal cases filed through the Mishawaka Police Department are referred to the Detective Bureau where they are reviewed and handled on a case-by-case basis.
