City of Mishawaka to Launch Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) on Wednesday, September 11th

City of Mishawaka to Launch Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) on Wednesday, September 11th

The City of Mishawaka is excited to announce the official launch of its Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) on Wednesday, September 11th, at 4:00 PM. This new initiative will create a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy their favorite beverages while exploring the vibrant downtown area.

The DORA will allow patrons to purchase alcoholic drinks from participating establishments (Social Cantina, Public House and Sun King) in the Ironworks Plaza and carry them in specially marked cups within the designated boundaries of the downtown district. This innovative program is designed to enhance the downtown experience, making it easier for people to enjoy local shops, restaurants, and events while responsibly carrying their beverages in public spaces.

The DORA is part of Mishawaka’s ongoing efforts to create a more lively and engaging downtown area. By providing the flexibility to enjoy beverages outdoors, we hope to encourage more people to explore what our city has to offer, from local eateries and boutiques to special events like concerts and markets.

We invite everyone to join us on September 11th at 4:00 PM to celebrate the DORA launch and explore downtown Mishawaka in a whole new way. For more details on the DORA boundaries, participating businesses, and event information, please visit the City of Mishawaka website or contact [insert contact information].

Let’s raise a toast to a more fun, engaging, and refreshing Mishawaka!
