Keep Bins Clear: Please ensure all bins are placed at least 3 feet away from cars, other bins, and any other objects. This helps our crews collect trash and recycling efficiently and safely. Please do not place the WM bins on the other side of cars where that arms of the truck cannot reach them!

MYAC Pocket Park Ribbon Cutting

On Sunday, May 19th, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., the ceremony took place at the southwest corner of the intersection of First Street and Main Street, with attendees encouraged to park in the City Hall lot.

Mayor Dave Wood and the MYAC led the celebration of the new pocket park, a project conceptually designed by the MYAC. Planning for “The Mish” pocket park began in the fall of 2022 and was brought to fruition through the students’ crowdfunding efforts. The park represents a collaborative effort to enhance the community space in Mishawaka and showcases the initiative and creativity of the city’s youth.
