Reminder: Snow Removal Is the Responsibility of Property Owners and Occupants – With a winter storm upon us, the City of Mishawaka would like to remind all residents and property owners of their responsibility to keep sidewalks clear of snow and debris in accordance with Mishawaka Code 58-527. Keep Your Water Flowing This Winter: Tips to Avoid Frozen Pipes – When temperatures drop below freezing for an extended period, water in pipes can freeze, expand, and cause pipes to burst, leading to water loss and expensive repairs. To help prevent this, we recommend letting your water trickle from a faucet during frigid weather. A small, steady stream of water can keep your lines flowing and reduce the risk of freezing.

The Mishawaka Parks and Rec Dept. Announce the Summer Food Service Program

The Mishawaka Parks and Rec Dept. are excited to announce that Penn Harris Madison Schools Summer Food Service Program will be back once again this year! PHM Schools will be servicing Central Park, Merrifield Park, and Temple Park. Menus are available on the PHM Website, www.phmschools.org, or at the sites. Anyone who is 19 or older may purchase a lunch for $5 from any of the sites being serviced by Penn Harris Madison Schools.

We will also be partnering again with School City of Mishawaka for their Summer Meals Program! They will be servicing Mary Gibbard and Twin Branch parks. Please note that 19 and older may not purchase lunches at these two sites. Sites being serviced by School City of Mishawaka are only allowing free lunches for children 18 and younger.
