In order to comply with the Governor Holcomb's Stay-At-Home Executive Order for the State of Indiana and the current directives from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), public access to City Buildings and Offices will be restricted as of 12:00pm noon on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Departments located in City Hall will provide assistance by appointment only. MIshawaka Utilities Business Office has also ceased allowing public entrance for bill payment and customer service.

The State of the City Address scheduled for March 23, 2020 in the Battell Center Auditorium has been postponed due to COVID-19. The address will be rescheduled at a later time.

It is with great sadness that we announce that former Mayor Robert C. Beutter passed away on Jan 2, 2020.  Known affectionately to many as "Mayor Bob", he served the City of Mishawaka for most of his life including as the longest serving mayor in the City’s history, having served for five terms from 1984-2003. Mayor Bob was a Mishawaka icon that leaves behind a great legacy in the Princess City.
