Background: Mayor Dave Wood believes that the highest and best title in all of politics is that of “mayor.” As the leader of our community, Mayor Wood recognizes the importance of listening to the voices of Mishawaka residents and engaging in open dialogue to better serve our city.

Front Porch Friday provides a unique opportunity for citizens to join Mayor Wood on the front porch of the Mishawaka Utilities Business Office for casual conversation and cold lemonade. This event is inspired by the rich tradition of American front porches, which have long served as gathering places for community members to connect and share stories.

In an effort to effectively serve the citizens of Mishawaka, Mayor Wood invites you to participate in this community conversation. Whether you have questions, concerns, or simply want to share your thoughts, Front Porch Friday is the perfect opportunity to engage directly with Mayor Wood and fellow residents.
