Mark Your Calendars! Mishawaka Memorial Day Parade Returns on May 27, 2024

The much-awaited Mishawaka Memorial Day Parade is back and scheduled for May 27, 2024, commencing at 9:30 A.M. sharp. Join us as we come together as a community to honor and commemorate this significant day.

Memorial Day holds a special place in our hearts as we remember and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and patriotism. The parade is a vital tradition that brings our community together to pay tribute to those who have served and to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy because of their sacrifices.

This year’s parade will follow a route through the heart of Mishawaka,

The parade starts at 3rd and Main and heads north to Mishawaka Ave, turns west along Mishawaka Ave passing the review stand at Mishawaka Ave. The parade route ends at Mishawaka Ave and forest where a commemorative ceremony will be held. The route is designed to pass through key landmarks, allowing maximum participation and viewing for all community members.

We encourage everyone to line the streets, wave flags, and show their support for our veterans and active service members. Bring your family and friends, and enjoy the vibrant floats, marching bands, veterans’ groups, and local organizations that will be participating. It’s a wonderful opportunity to teach younger generations about the importance of Memorial Day and to foster a sense of community pride.

We look forward to your participation and support! Together, let’s make this Memorial Day Parade a memorable and meaningful event for all.
