Mishawaka Fire Dept. Cancer Shirts Available

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Mishawaka Fire Dept. in conjunction with Mishawaka Fire Dept. Union Local 360 believes in this being a national cause.

Proceeds from this year's shirt sales will be donated to Tammy Thomas of Mishawaka. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and then again in 2016. Doctors were confident that she was doing better, numbers were good and her health was improving. Then in early 2018, Tammy suffered from a stroke. She was then told that her cancer had spread and tumors were found in her lungs and were diagnosed at Stage 4.

We are hoping you can help us spread "pink" across our community as Tammy continues to fight while going through multiple treatments and keeping a positive ( I CAN ) attitude with her faith in God. Tammy has many family and friends throughout the Mishawaka area who continue to give her courage and prayers throughout her fight with this horrible disease.

We could use your support to help raise funds by simply donating or buying a shirt or two! Please spread the word and share this link with others!! The deadline to order is September 23, 2020.

We thank you in advance for your support!!
